to make this card!

This would make a great masculine Christmas card.
Where I live in Australia (Sunny Queensland!!!) I'm not likely to see snow
but it sure is getting chilly here in the mornings.
I used my Distressed inks this time
and I really like how the Broken China snowman looks like cozy flannel
when stamped onto my cardstock.
Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!

so I've got all my stamp sets on sale.

$28 sets are now $25
$34 sets are now $30

Just Because Of You

 Hello and welcome to another
Ippity Hip Hop.
For a list of all this weeks participants
go to the Ippity Blog

This week I've made some very simple styled cards using

The first card I made using the graffiti stamp.

I simply stamped the image, once in brown and once in red.
From the red image I punched out some hearts and
popped them over the matching parts of the brown image.
Too easy.

The next card is some pretty simple stamping,
with some punched out hearts from the spotty heart image.

I love spotty things and this next card sure turned out very spotty.

Using a stamp positioning system,
I stamped my own patterned paper in red.
I then stamped the same image in brown,
cut them out and 'spotlighted' one of the red hearts.

Did you know that  May 13 2010 is the release date of new Ippity stamps?
I've had a sneak peek and I'm sure you'll love them just as much as I do.
Did you also know that it is my birthday this month also?
In anticipation of the new release
and because this is such a special month *wink, wink*,
I'm putting on a sale .

All AUD$34 sets are now AUD$30
and
all AUD$28 sets are now AUD$25.
Postage within Australia is still free!!

See something that you like? Then drop me a line with your order

I just want to take this opportunity
to thank all my customers for supporting
my efforts and encouraging me with this blog.

Have a very creative day!!

Love Should Be Returned

Hello to all the Ippity Hoppers today.
All H{Ippity}Hop participants can be found on the

Today I have some cards made with two sets.

and

I was making some cards with other stamps that I own
and I got to thinking if I could recreate the look
I was achieving with my Ippity stamps.
This is what I came up with.

I liked how it turned out,
but I wanted to take it a step further and
challenge myself to recreate the card in a different colour.
So using exactly the same stamps I made a few more.
Like this one.

And this one.

And lastly, I wanted to recreate the card but in a bold style.

Despite being almost the exact same card as each other,
I find they each evoke a different feel.
I have a few recipients in mind who suit the different cards
depending on their personality.
This is the first time I sat down and created in this way
and I have to say I quite enjoyed the journey!
I ended up making about ten of these cards
 all in different colour ways.
You should try it sometime.

These stamp sets can be purchased right here off this blog.

Remember all prices are in Australian dollars
and postage within Australia is still free.

Whereever you happen to be in the world today,
I hope it is a good day for you!
Enjoy your creativity!

Just Wanted To Say Something With Kaiser

Hello!
It's that time of the week for another Hippity Hop.
Hop on over to The Ippity Blog for a full list of participating stampers
and get inspired to create with Ippity stamps.

My little tale of woe for this week is one that we are all to familiar with
and that is an annoying lack of time to pursue our hobbies.
I signed up for this weeks hop very late, and still no card made to show off.
So my challenge to myself this week was to be able to make a couple of quick cards.

I had a very tight time budget.
One hour to make cards and get them photographed before the daylight faded.
I used the Ippity Stamp set
A great set with a variety of useful sentiments for making quick cards

So to make a quick card I just stamped the sentiment and let the pretty paper from a 6x6 Kaiser paper pad do most of the decorative 'work'.

The pad also came with some diecuts - too easy
when it comes to added a bit a of a decorative border or a tag!

And now for a special message to all the Aussie visitors to this post.
You can purchase this great rubber stamp set from me by clicking on the title link.
All listed prices are in Australian Dollars
There are other great sets as well,
so why don't you do yourself a favour and check them out as well.
Remember I still have free postage to Australian addresses.

Looking ahead, I can see that I'll have some spare time next Monday!
Oh dear, thats so far away.
To all those who get time to create this week - good luck to you.
To all the others, just make something quick anyway.
:)

It's A Matter Of Mostly Making Cards.

Welcome to this weeks Hippity Hop,
a blog hop showing you a great variety of stamping styles using Ippity Stamps.
A full list of participants can be found every Monday on the Ippity Blog.
So go and check it out and be inspired by the creativity.

This week I made a series of three cards using

I like to sit down with a chosen stamp set,
a limited selection of card stack, papers and tools
and see what I can come up with.

This wek I used a blender pen to colour all my images.
This is currently my favoured way of colouring.

I love this half tree image!
It's great standing out on its own or used as a decorative corner frame,
like I did with this card.

I only had a tiny piece of the patterned paper to work with on all three cards,
so I really needed to create a way to make it 'stretch'.

For this last card, I offset my panels within the larger frame
and created my own patterned paper
by repeat stamping the butterflies on the two border pieces.

I'd say this is one of my most favourite Ippity stamp sets
because I just love that tree stamp
(Truth be told I've yet to meet a Unity tree image I don't like. I'm drawn to their trees!!)
I've used this set to make a variety of cards, including this years Easter cards.
Very versatile!

If you live in Australia and you'd like to own this set,
you can purchase it thru me right here off this blog, by clicking  the set title link above.
Prices are in Australian dollars,
and shipping is still free for Australian delivery for a limited time.

Thanks for dropping by to see what I've made for todays blog hop.
I hope you enjoyed!!

Greetings Of The Regal Kind

Hi and welcome to another Ippity Blog Hop.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter.
Today I have a couple of cards to show you.

There were five layers to this sketch, but if you look closely you'll notice that I've only got three layers.
Layers three and four (from the base up) are in fact masked, stamped and sponged onto the second layer.
This is a good option if you want to keep your card flat.

This card was made for the Clean and Simple Challenge, also at Splitcoast.
What could be more regal and elegant than a card made in the colours of purple?

Both of these cards where made with

To purchase this set from me click on the link above the picture.
NB: prices are in Australian Dollars and postage within Australia is still free at the moment.
Don't live in Australia?  Send me an email and I'll get you a quote on postage.

Happy stamping everyone!!

Sweet Baby Girl

Welcome to this weeks Ippity Hip Hop.
For a list of other Hip Hoppers and more Ippity Inspiration go to the Unity Opportunity Blog.

Who doesn't go all soft and girly when they've a baby girl card to make.
I go all mushy when I make a baby card, especially a girl baby card!!

I coloured the hanging hearts with a blender pen,
added a punched lace border that was stencilled with another scrap punched with the same border,
sprinkled on some fine glitter, tied a bow,
stamped a sentiment and my beautiful card was done.

I used the Ippity set

As we all know, real life gets very busy sometimes and somethings just don't get done.
One thing that hasn't been done here is getting my postage rates sorted.
What does this mean for you?
Postage is still
free for Australian residents
if you order stamp sets from this blog.
That means you could make a saving from $5 - $15 on postage.
Don't miss out!!

Thanks for dropping by today!

Some Cute Bunny

I made this seriously cute card today.
I don't often make cute cards, but boy do they make me smile when I do!!

I used  SWEET THOUGHTS OF SPRING stamp set.

Both background papers where created with stamps from this set.
The bunny was coloured using one of my favourite colouring techniques.
I create a stencil (and for this image I actually made two) and sponge the colour onto the image.
This is a very quick way of colouring an image, especially if you were making several of the same card design.

Remember, you can purchase SWEET THOUGHTS OF SPRING from me,
 right here off this blog

The stamps used are from DEVOTED
